ICE London 2024 results. Interview with BDMs Betatransfer Kassa Alex Volk and Oleg Khom
The real capital of the iGaming industry, the city of fog and rain, and of course the capital of Great Britain – London. Tens of thousands of market players from all over the world flock to the annual ICE London. We with our stand were for the first time in the exhibition area of ICE, and our impressions are very cool. We are looking forward to the next event, which will take place not in London, but in Barcelona. Yes, we can already say that we will be there. And we are sure that it will be just as big and exciting.
We have already introduced you to our Business Development Managers Alex Volk and Oleg Khom, this time a wonderful lady – Lilia – has joined our team, we think many people have already met her. And, of course, we asked the guys about everything.
– Tell us how it was?

It was really huge. We had over a hundred meetings in those the three days. So you realise how I feel now, right (laughs)? OK, it’s all a joke, I’m really exhausted, but it was very productive.

I can confidently say that this is one of the most global iGaming events not only in Europe, but also in the world. The scale and level of organisation was really impressive, we have something to compare it with. I can say that we achieved our goals. Dozens of new potential clients, with whom we are in the process of negotiations right now and also new partnerships that will allow us to develop our product.
– What were the participants most interested in and what new solutions did you present in London?

Back last year we announced a lot of new geos, if you remember. India, Latin American countries, Japan. These are geos where acquiring solutions miss no more than 10% of turnover. Our company has created alternative payment solutions that can be connected quickly and profitably, and which have excellent conversion and throughput. That is why it is very easy for companies to enter new geos with us.

Yes, and we have a new solution for Tajikistan, many people were very interested in it. In general, we are, without bragging, one of the best in the former CIS countries geo. Our clients record conversion rates of 70-80%.
We are also the first on the market to integrate Binance Pay. This solution gives a 100% conversion rate as the user has already gone through the full verification stage. The target audience of iGaming niche companies is very similar to the audience of cryptocurrency holders, so the solution is in demand.
– What topics were discussed at the panel discussions?

I attended the World Regulatory Briefing (WBR). This is one of the most difficult and debated topics in the market. Regulators were discussing the complexities of harmonised regulation across national borders. This is particularly true for EU countries. All participants in the briefing recognised the need for knowledge sharing and cooperation between countries to address common regulatory challenges. How this will work in reality and where it will lead – we will see.
