ICE has swapped its London home for the Catalan capital, and it seems this move has only made the event even bigger. Massive exhibition halls, tens of thousands of attendees, and an endless flow of activities. Let’s hear how it all went from the perspective of our sales team: Alex Volk (CBDO), Vlad Grigori (BDM), Kseniya (BDM), and Lisa Mel (BDM).
— How was your experience at ICE?

This wasn’t my first ICE, but every time feels like a fresh adventure. This year, we were running at full speed: meetings in the morning, working the booth during the day, negotiations in the evening, and even some networking at parties (laughs). Barcelona was a fantastic setting for such an event—relaxed yet incredibly productive.

This was my first ICE with the Betatransfer Kassa team, and honestly, I didn’t expect it to be so huge. It was easy to get lost in the halls—we even made a funny video about it for social media. In short, it was productive. We held dozens of meetings, met potential clients and partners, and discussed market trends and challenges.

The pace was insane. Imagine coming back from an evening event only to be back at the booth, fully ready, by 9 a.m. But it was absolutely worth it! Many people were interested in our solutions for Latin America, particularly Brazil and Argentina. ICE isn’t just an event—it’s a platform to showcase yourself and your product on a global stage.

Barcelona’s energy is contagious. Spanish is my language, and it felt great to work in such a vibrant atmosphere. Of course, the highlights were the new partnerships and opportunities ICE has opened up for us. I’m eagerly waiting for the bonuses from the company for all the new clients we onboarded!
— What topics were covered during the panel discussions?

The panel discussions at ICE Barcelona 2025 touched on key issues shaping the future of the iGaming industry. A central topic, as always, was the regulation of the gambling market. We discussed the new requirements in the European Union, the challenges of aligning various jurisdictions, and the role of technology in adapting to changing regulations.
There was also significant focus on the growth of cryptocurrency solutions and their integration into payment systems. Participants explored how digital currencies can reshape iGaming payments and the opportunities they present for operators and players.
Another major topic was innovation in technology, such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, and their applications for enhancing user experience and improving security. Speakers shared their views on how these technologies will transform the industry in the coming years.
